Presenting in Washington D.C. February 5th
« on: January 26, 2007, 03:06:35 PM »
I'm presenting a poster at the S.S.A.A.P. conference in Washington D.C. February 3rd-7th. If anyone would like to meet up with me, drop a note here or send me an email: I've done something very uncharacteristic for me and finished my 2/3 of the poster a whole week before the conference! Now, I just need to get the postdoc to add her 1/3. A picture of the poster is shown below, you can see my spin-coater(TOSCA-Tricked Out Spin Coating Apparatus) is used as the background for my 2/3 of the poster.

Note 1: I'll try to line up an other chemical blogger to at least post something during my absence.

Most Common Suggestions I Make on the Forums.
1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.
3. Forum Supports LaTex

Good luck at the poster session, Mitch!

Those things are a lot more difficult and nerve-wracking than you would think!

are you headed straight for DC?  if not, which cities are you flying through?
(slim chance that any are near here, but still.)
