Ok here it is
A sample of a Metal with a mass of 212g is heated to 125.0 C and then droped into 375g water at 24.0C. if the end temp is 34.0C, what is the specific heat of the metal?
Ok this problum is ok , that is, it makes sens, i can figure it out. But when asked to find heat of H20, here let me ask you this whay.
A sample of a Metal with a mass of 212g is heated to 125.0 C and then droped into 375g water at 24.0C, What is the final temp of the H20. I have tried my best to figure this puzzel out, with no anser.
atempt 1) geting spasific heat of both H20 and the Metal(product of first anser 0.831j/gc) than geting the amount of( j) it takes to raise 212g of metal up to 125.0j=(220215.5j) and 375g of H20 to 24.0=(1443.48j) then subtracting H20 from Metal. it comes close to 34.2 C but not exact pleas help, this problum makes me whant to scrach my face!!!!
