Hi everyone,
Is it possible that HBTU (2-(1-H-benzotriazol-1-yl)-1,1,3,3-tetramethyluronium hexafluorophosphate) has a tautomer form, and if so, what would be the mechanistic explanation?
If you look up the attached structures of HBTU and TBTU (which only differ from their counter-ion), one might suspect tautomerism for the benzotriazol-uronium moeity...
I work as a chemist evaluator for Health Canada, doing exposure assessment and I need to confirm the chemical's identity before I write the final report. No rush though, as the deadline is already passed.
Thanks!
