Ok I'm really confused about how to do this. I've tried and can't figure it out, if someone could show me the answer I'd be eternally greatful.
-Reactions 1+3=2, but I don't know how to show this properly.
Reaction 1:
NaOH(s) ---> Na+(aq) + OH-(aq) + heat
Reaction 2:
NaOH(s) + H+(aq) + Cl-(aq) -----> Na+(aq) + Cl-(aq) +H20
Reaction 3:
Na+(aq) + OH-(aq) + H+(aq) + Cl-(aq) ---> Na+(aq) + Cl-(aq) +H20
Yeah that "H20" is water, I don't know how to type a small "2" on here, and sorry about the + and - signs, I'm not sure how to make those on top either. Thanks if you can help me.
