Energy required for organic reaction - hydrogen spectrum

C3H8 + SO2 + Cl2 -> C3H7SO2Cl (structure not given) + HCl
Enery suitable to carry out reaction coincides with:

a) Lyman
b) Paschen
c) Brackett
d) Pfund

Please do let me know if anyone has a clue.

Think about the most probable mechanism (hint: it has something to do with Cl2). How much energy is needed? Visible, ultraviolet or infrared?

Cl2 additions normally involve UV radiation (free radical), which is the Lyman series, but that wasnt the given answer. I think it was Paschen but I'll try to check it out. then again, the book's answers are wrong from time to time.
