2,3,3-Trimethylpentane

              CH3
               |
CH3--CH2--C--CH--CH3
               |     |
             CH3  CH3

2,3-chloro-2-pentene

            Cl
            |
CH3--C=C--CH2--CH3
        |
       Cl

3-Hexyne

CH3--CH2--C=C--CH2--CH3

Am I anywhere close to naming these compounds correctly??

1 is wrong; the double bond does not start at carbon 1

2 is correct

3 is wrong. There are two chlorines, so di. You then have the possibility of isomers.

4 is correct if that is a triple bond, wrong if it is a double.
