epoxidation of styrene
« on: April 18, 2007, 09:35:43 AM »
Hello!

I have a problem. Has anyone tried epoxidation of styrene? And tried to characterize it with liquid chromatography? Did it work?

I am trying to characterize the product, styreneoxide, and I get only one signal which is signal of styrene. Help! What do I do wrong...

Another question: Does anyone know what are the molar absorptivities of styrene and eugenol?

Thanks!
