My answer to that problem:

The clean function of ultrasonic wave is to use the waves over the frequency of human hearing conducting within the liquid. Whenultrasonic waves, longitudinal waves, are conducting within the cleaner, which pushing function for the medium will enable the pressure within the liquid to change and produce mini vacuum bubbles referred as Cavitation. When gas bubbles are pressed to break, they will produce so great excitation energy as to separate the dirts sticked to the dead cormer of object as well as to enhance clean effect of cleaner. With high frequency, short wave length and strong penertrating power, so that it can completely clean the article having hidden seam or complex structure.

- Do you have any complement ? I also would like to know about the working mechanism of the instument, how does it generate such high frequency of wave. Thanks.

the way i see it, ultrasound makes the air vibrate at a higher frequency than normal sound, and since frequency is proportional to the energy of a wave, the ultrasound waves vibrate the air molecules alot, jiggling dust out of their nook and crannies as they are excited and dislodged from their hiding spots

as for pressure regions, it is possible that a compression could occur in the air space around the dust then is rarefied due to the longitudinal nature of the wave, thus expelling it and moving it around. and what do you mean by strong penetrating power? intensity? ability to transmit the wave across the medium without much loss in intensity?
one learns best by teaching

Actually, I am not quit familiar with this instrument, and that's why I came to ask for help.  :D In college,I have tried using the ultrasonic bath for degas, cleaning and solid dissolution.... The medium was
simply water. I want to know the mechanism of the above process.
