I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good website detailing what dxy, dx2-y2, etc. orbitals are.  Thanks a lot.

Shriver and Atkins' Inorganic Chemistry has good chapters on crystal and ligand field theory, I'd recommend getting hold of it.
