Hi Im told that a packet has 100 FeS04 tablets. Each tablet contains 0.2g of FeSO4
Fe = 56, O = 16, S = 32
Im asked the question
The 100 iron tablets in the packet contain a total mass of 20g of Iron(II) sulphate
Calculate the mass of iron in 20g of iron(II) sulphate
I presume I'm using the equation No of moles = Mass in g / Mr
so where now? Do I calculate the number of moles by doing 0.2 / 152 = 0.001315....
then do I mass = 0.001315 x 56
= 0.07368421?
Is that right?
Thx
