Shadow
« on: July 11, 2007, 01:42:06 PM »
So I was about to celebrate my 500th post, by adding shadow to the text in my message.  Turns out the shadow tag doesn't work for me.  Is that just a problem with my computer, or with the forum?

The code:
Code: [Select]
[shadow=red,left]This text should have a red shadow[/shadow]produces:
This text should have a red shadow

The code:
Code: [Select]
[shadow=green,left]This text should have a green shadow[/shadow]produces:
This text should have a green shadow

The 'glow' tag works fine:
Code: [Select]
[glow=red,2,300]This text should glow red[/glow]produces:
This text should glow red

What does the shadow tag do?
"Say you're in a [chemical] plant and there's a snake on the floor. What are you going to do? Call a consultant? Get a meeting together to talk about which color is the snake? Employees should do one thing: walk over there and you step on the friggin snake." - Jean-Pierre Garnier, CEO of Glaxosmithkline, June 2006

You can see an example on the button when you make a post.  It's the italic W in between the glowing G and marquee M.  It looks like there's a 1-pixel blue shadow on the italic W.  I assume that's what it means.
