How to increase acetic acid content of vinegar?
« on: July 26, 2007, 12:14:14 PM »
I have a bottle of 6% vinegar. If I leave the cap off, will water evaporation make the acetic acid percentage increase? Or will the acetic acid evaporate as well as the water?

Smell of the open bottle is part of the answer.

Look for the boiling points.

Thanks, but what is the rest of the answer? I'm not a chemistry person, just a layman seeking some info.
