Good colleges to go to major in chemistry.
« on: July 15, 2007, 02:51:29 PM »
I am going to be a high school senior, and I am looking for different colleges that have good chemistry departments. I have had no real luck so far. Suggestions on different colleges would be a big help in this process. The two colleges I have on my list so far are the University of Florida and the University of Miami.

What about UC Berkeley, UCLA and UIUC?
"Say you're in a [chemical] plant and there's a snake on the floor. What are you going to do? Call a consultant? Get a meeting together to talk about which color is the snake? Employees should do one thing: walk over there and you step on the friggin snake." - Jean-Pierre Garnier, CEO of Glaxosmithkline, June 2006

Either University of Florida or University of Miami is fine for undergraduate chemistry.
Most Common Suggestions I Make on the Forums.
1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.
3. Forum Supports LaTex
