Hydrocarbons with _____________ carbons are most likely found in gasoline?
(1-3, 2-4, 3-5, 5-7 or 8-10?)

About 6-10. Hydrocarbons below C5 are gaseous at ambient temperatures and C5 ones all boil below body temperature; those above C10 or so will not vapourise easily enough in the car engine.
