Somebody Please Help Me With these Question. Its Urgent!
1) If a solution has a Ca(OCL)2 concentration of 3.56gm per 100ml of solution, what is the molarity of [OCL]-1 ?
The Equation for this is - Ca2+ + 2OCL-1 > Ca(OCl)2
The answers i got were - 0.249, 0.346, 0.692 and 0.00968. But all of them are wrong.
2) Citric acid (C6H8O7 has a molar mass of 192.12gm/mol) is a triprotic acid. How many grams of citric acid are contained in a 25.0ml sample that requires 38.8ml of 1.06M NaOH for neutralization to occur? Give the formula of the calcium salt of this compound.
I got the answer for the first part of the question. But I dont understand what is a calcium salt of a compund. Please Help.
