Am I doing the right degree?
« on: January 21, 2005, 06:31:03 PM »
Sigh.. almost 4months into my first semester at university. I am currently studying chemical engineering. I am ok with my process analysis, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, etc modules.. but i miss chemistry so much. I really enjoy my chemistry classes so much. it makes me wonder if I should read chemistry instead.

can you double major or get a minor?
Most Common Suggestions I Make on the Forums.
1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.
3. Forum Supports LaTex

if I do well enough to enter the fine chemical stream, i will get to do more chemistry for my 2nd-4th year of the degree, including organic chemistry lab. the fine chemical concentration focuses on speciality and pharamatical chemical technology. I am not sure if I will be more happy doing pure chemistry or engineering..

Sometimes I ask myself the same question? I love Math and chemistry.....but now I am trying to finish chemistry. Should I keep going for another year to get a math degree and then what am I going to do with it?? Arghh... I try not to think right now. I have so many reading assignments to take care. I hate reading....

Its best to try to keep all your options open.
