Preservative for water assay
« on: October 24, 2007, 01:26:26 PM »
Hello, I'm conducting an extended release test of a zinc product in water.  The sample will be at 37 C for up to 2 weeks so I would like to add a preservative to the assay.  Can someone suggest a preservative that will not interact with zinc?  I thought zinc itself may act as a preservative but in the instance it does not release into the water I will definitely need a preservative.
Thanks
