Lead Paint Concentrations in Old Houses
« on: November 19, 2007, 06:38:54 PM »
I am looking for some specifics on the concentration of lead in old paint (pre-1978), but my searches are only resulting in current lead concentration regulations.  Does anybody have any good sites to visit, or is anybody able to directly link me to any good pages that may be of help?  Thank you.

I would probably contact a local Lead Paint Abatement company. Paint is very localized. I.E. people in dry climates needs a different kind of paint from people in wet climates. Different temperature ranges, amount of sun, etc etc. The types of paint across various countries is usually quite different. As such, they probably have this information on hand for your region, or can easily tell you how to access records and such; and some might even provide you with the records.
