minimum pressure help
« on: November 13, 2007, 06:20:55 PM »
Hi I've been having trouble finding the right gas laws to use for this problem..

Calculate the minimum pressure (in psi) required to generate pure water from a salt solution in a reverse osmosis water purification apparatus at 20.00 degrees Celsius. The salt solution is an aqueous solution containing 45.00 g of NaCl (FW = 58.45 ) per liter of seawater. [ 1 atm = 14.7 psi ]

Your help is immensely appreciated!!
