Heat

Find Delta--H° for the reaction C3H8(g) + 5O2(g)  ===> 3CO2(g) + 4H2O(l).  Delta H° =  -2046 kJ for the reaction, C3H8(g) + 5O2(g)  ===> 3CO2(g) + 4H2O(g), and the heat of vaporization of water is 44.0 kJ/mol.

Can someone evaluate my answer to see if it is correct?

4 x 44 = 176
-2046+176 = -1870 kJ

Find Delta--H° for the reaction C3H8(g) + 5O2(g)  ===> 3CO2(g) + 4H2O(l).  Delta H° =  -2046 kJ for the reaction, C3H8(g) + 5O2(g)  ===> 3CO2(g) + 4H2O(g), and the heat of vaporization of water is 44.0 kJ/mol.

heat of vap of H2O is H2O(l) --> H2O(g)  delta H =  44 kJ

but need H2O(g) --> H2O(l) so delta H = -44 kJ

so -2046  + (4 x -44kJ)
