Hello everyone!
I just have a really quick question.  For my general chemistry class, we were asked to synthesize calcium fluorite using calcite, villaumite and hydrochloric acid only.  I got my reactions to get to the calcium fluorite part.  My question is, what kind of reactions are they?
These are my rxns:
CaCo₃ + 2HCl -> CaCl₂ + CO₂ + H₂O

CaCl₂ + 2NaF -> CaF₂ + 2NaCl

Is it precipitate? Acid base???
I am just clueless....

CaF2 is completely insoluble in water, while NaCl is very soluble. Mix your NaF into water and add CaCl2. Over time, the CaF2 will sink to the bottom while the NaCl remains in solution. Drain off the liquid and dehydrate the solid left over. This is your CaF2.
