In substrate-level phosphorylation, ATP is produced by the transfer of a phosphate from a metabolic intermediate to ADP.  This is in contrast to oxidative phosphorylation which occurs in the mitochondria and involves the synthesis of ATP from ADP using the energy from a proton gradient.

So, look through glycolysis and the TCA cycle to find steps where ATP is produced by substrate-level phosphorylation.  You can always post your answers here and we can tell you whether you are right.
