Ionic Compounds

The question states "Which ionic compound is expected to form from the combination of Bromine and Scandium?"
I found the answer to be Br2Sc, but it says this is wrong. Can anyone tell me what they get for this, and how they did it?

Dear Laxplayer;

Scandium has the “Electron Configuration”:    [Ar] 3d1  4S2
That means a natural oxidation number of +3 and your product should therefore be ScBr3.

Good Luck!
