I assume you are asking about the reaction with the cis form and that would be the one I labeled as the Major product.  (I'm weird I type out my homework...)

Just be careful that you don't keep the wedge in the trisubstituted olefin....

The answer given in your post is correct. Like sjb mentioned, the wedge is unnecessary. In 1 there are probably small quantities of the syn-elimination product, too.

My professor would argue that you deserve to lose all points on that question for drawing a wedge on a planar system.

He is probably right, because it shows that the student didn't understand the meaning of a wedge. Of course a wedge can make sense in some cases:

Actually the wedge in the 1st product from the cis E2 elimination was a mistake, I had copied the starting material and forgot to change the stereo configuration.  Actually I didn't even think about.  I will be more careful in the future.

Oh yea, I was simply emphasizing that not only was the wedge not necessary, but technically incorrect.
