Hi everyone,
with consecutive elementary reactions A -->I--->P
I'm having trouble integrating from d[ I]/dt = k1[A]
0
exp(-k1t) - k2[ I]
to
[ I] = (k1/(k2-k1))(exp(-k1t)-exp(-k2t))[A]
0
If that wasnt clear then

shows the equations nicely. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

If you have a 1st order linear differential equation that cannot be solved by separation of variables, you can use the integrating factor method:
