magnetic moments of copper compounds

why does copper(2)formate tetrahydrate have a magnetic moment value of 1.67 B.M ?
The observed magnetic moment value of copper(2) acetate monohydrate is 1.4 B.M at room temperature which is opposed to spin only value of 1.73. Please explain this to me.
