Can metals be forced into alloys with a certain molecular structure?

Well, my topic talks for itself - Can metals be forced into alloys with a certain molecular structure? I am currently working on a project in chemistry and was wondering this. Would this work for only certain alloys or could all alloys (assuming the number of atoms is sufficient) be forced into any other structure?

Steels, for example, display a wide variety of long and short term organization. Alloys tend to have a "grain" of crystal types. But exactly what you're asking for, selecting a certain arbitrary crystal or molecular form, that I don't see as likely.

Hi gizoku00,
Just for my curiosity, are you talking about a blend of metals something similar to brass (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brass
). What type of particular molecular structure are you looking at creating, or mimiking?
Thanks,
Eugene

See phase diagrams for mixture of certain metals.
