rate law
« on: February 14, 2008, 10:03:52 PM »
hi! im having problem with these kind of problems,
dont know how to solve it, can someone help me?

Consider the reaction with the rate law, Rate = k[BrO3-][Br-][H+]^2
By what factor does the rate change if the concentration of H+ is halved? Just put in the number as a whole number or fraction.

Is it first or second reaction order? What does it means for whichever reaction order it is? This is probably in your book, either in bold or in a table/chart, or some colored section..
