I am sorry to bother eveyone with this but I really need help on this question because no matter how much I look at it I still can not understand it!
Write the electron configuration diagram that shows the transfer of electrons that takes place to form the compound Sodium fluoride. Include the electron configurations of the ions formed. Which noble gas configuration does each Ion have?

If you understand what the electron configuration of sodium is, then start by writing that out, then do fluorine next
