OK SUPRISE SUPRISES IM LOST AGAIN



CAN SOMEONE HELP ME SET UP THIS PROBLEM

ASSUMING THAT ON AVERAGE THERE ARE 10 TREES PER HECTARE AND 80% OF THE WORLDS SURFACE IS WATER, HOW MANT METRIC TONS OF SUGAR ARE MADE BY TREES IN THE WORLD EVERYDAY? USE EXPONENTIAL NUMBERS AND ROUND TO JUST 2 SIGNIFICANT NUMBERS WHEREVER YOU CAN

earths surface

1 mile = 1.61 km
radius of the world = 7960 miles
surface area o a shere is 4pie r2
so the surface area of the earth is

4x3.14x7960(2)=316.27 miles or 272.64 km

is this correct
