Triple Major Anyone?
« on: March 27, 2008, 12:23:15 AM »
Ok, So I have a friend that is triple majoring in Emergency Management, English, and History. My other friend and I really want to tell him how impractical we think it is, how would we do that?
Is this even impractical?
Thoughts or Comments?
How outrageous is this triple major selection on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the most outrageous)

1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.

1.. I was a Triple Major!!!  Sorry....OH...I missed 1 last math class I needed but they out it on the transcrypt anyway....I think the 191 hrs qualified it...but if you add up the hrs...missing 3 in math...

Let me rephrase...making me go waay back into my files...looks like last TR issued says 207.....total credit hours....I am guessing that is because mine did overlap.  I mean Chemistry and Physics...and Math...pretty much same core...but I still see that according to requirements...really looks like 1 math class is not there..If I recall correctly, I was missing Abstract Algebra....

Those last hrs...207-191...last 6 added for the summer before I graduated...just before entering IIT. Graduate level Quantum Chemistry and Graduate level Quantum Physics.

WOW...did not realize I did those in 8 weeks....I must have been crazy!!!

It did help me on the GREs

2 or 3.  I double majored in chemistry and music.  The three majors listed there aren't so bad because they have the same gen ed requirements for the most part.  Mine were horrible because they didn't overlap at all.  I graduated with 283 hours.

Well, I mean Im majoring in Pre-Pharmacy and Pyschology but I didnt think it too practical for a person goin to be a state trooper to have 2 other majors not having to do with eachother like english and history
