Hi!
I need to saparete trans-isomer as monotartrate salt from cis/trans mixture...
Does anybody know how to determine purity of diamine after saparation?
Thanks

The most accurate way is to use HPLC, but you will require pure samples of each isomer.
The other way is
1
H-NMR.

I don't have suitable HPLC column to saparate cis - trans isomers....and it have IR detector so won't see any signal I think.

Then use NMR failing that a quantitative TTC may help
