Residence time calculation for Scale up-Modified question

I've made a small prototype of the reactor and we found that it can treat a certain amount of liquid.we also have details of how long a period of contact isrequired to bring down the concentration of the component to be removed to a certain value.Now if i want to theoretically calculate the pressure rop of a bigger reactor how should i find the residence time of it.Also how to decide upon a sphericity for needle shaped substance such as coir?Pls help
