Need some guidance on synthesizing this compound

So far, i have decided to start with chlorobenzene, do a fridelcraft acylation, then im pretty much stuck on how to connect the left part of the target molecule. Could anyone give me some advice please? Thank you

Sorry to be so tardy with a response, but I only just now noticed, the structure you linked (first one below) seems similar to bupropion (second one).  Could it be an intermediate in the synthesis or a metabolic derivative, which is likely published many places?

So chlorobenzene then Friedel craft acylation with acetyl chloride will give you 2-chlorobenzophenone and probably other polyalkylated products.  Then do an aldol reaction utilizing the acidic alpha hydrogen and condensation with the appropiate R chain aldehyde.
