I understand preventing spamming people's inboxes, but as it happens, I've tried to send 1 pm to 3 different people and can't :(

okay, you should be liberated. The new limit is 10 per hour. We had a major pornographic spamming incident years ago and I don't think we ever eased up on those restrictions.
