How to calculate amount of OH formed from a titration?
« on: July 26, 2008, 03:29:14 PM »
When given the volume of HCl titrated how do I calculate the moles of OH formed from a saponification of oil and KOH? I think I'm probably thinking to much in to it, and am overlooking a very easy calculation.

Start with the reaction equations.
