Molarity
« on: July 31, 2008, 07:12:12 AM »

If I have a 14.8M soln of Ammonium Hydroxide, and I want a 1M soln in 1000mls of water.

Do I do the following :-

1000/14.8= 67.57mls

So I would add 67.57 mls to 1000 mls of water giving me a 1M Soln.

And would this equation if you like be the same for any chemical ie (Vol/M)

Thanks in advance

 :)
