Molecular formula

Select the correct, balanced molecular equation

Cu(OH)2(s) + HCl(aq)  ---> CuCl2(s) + 2H2O(l)

HCl(aq) + KOH(aq) ---> KCl(aq) + H2O(l)

CoSO4(aq) + 2NaOH(aq) ---> Co(OH)2(s) + Na2SO4(aq)

The bolded part of the equation is what the products should be (according to me), BUT I keep getting the answer wrong :(

1) percipitates are acknowledged
2) The equation is balanced
3) correct phases.

Is there something im doing wrong?

Your top equation is not balanced.

Every equation is balanced now, but the problem still remains unsolved.
These are molecular formulas correct? I really don't see why I keep getting the question wrong :(

CuCl2 is not insoluble in water.  It should be aqueous.

Hmm.
I remember back in Chem 12, I do recall an exception with Cu. On my solubility chart, it says Cl- is insoluble with Cu+.

That's as maybe, but you're not dealing with Cu+ here, but Cu2+.
