Please help me solve the following:
1) Analysis of a volatile liquid shows that it contains 24.79 percent carbon, 2.04 percent hydrogen, and 73.17 percent chlorine by mass. At 176.0 °C and 3.8 atm, 604.0 mL of the vapor has a mass of 6.031 g. What is the molar mass of the compound?
2) For the compound above, determine the molecular formula. Enter your answer like this: C10H21Cl, C100H201Cl, etc.. (your numbers will probably not be the same as these)
3) An analysis is performed on an organic liquid with a fishy odor. Vaporization of 255.0 mg of the compound in a 150-mL bulb at 100 degrees C gives a pressure of 440.0 torr. What is the molar mass of this compound?
Thank you
