Consider the following reaction, equilibrium concentrations, and equilibrium constant oat a particular temperature. Determine the equilibrium pressure of CO.
CO(g) + 2 H2(g) <---> CH3OH(l) Kp = 2.25 x 10^4
P(H2)eq= 0.52 atm
This is my work:
2.25 x 10^4 = (CO) * (.52)^2
(CO) = 8.3 X 10^4
For some reason, the answer on my practice quiz is 1.6 x10^4 atm. I know that liquids aren't present in the equation, but I don't understand why my answer is wrong.
