I find it hard to answer this question... Can anyone give a helping hand?
2 mols of X at 20degC is mixed with 3mols of Y at 50degC...the Cp for water is 75.3 kJ/Kmol. Assume that there is no heat loss to the surrounding..

I assume that the equation  :delta:S= -R(x1lnx1+x2lnx2) where x is the mole fraction.
Please help me...

Another is to find the Heat of mutarotation of solid glucose given values for the heat of solution of alpha and beta glucose and the heat of mutarotation of liquid glucose.
