Hello to everyone. This is my first post.

I have an assignment which is research on a product that has an alternative/green synthesis. Problem is googling did not net me much result. Any ideas where I should start?

edit: I was planning on doing synthesis of p-methoxybenzaldehyde from p-methoxy toluene. This is the conventional method.

The alternative method uses methanol solvent with sodium benzene sulfonate as the supporting electrolyte.

Problem is there isn't much info i could find...
