science is my worst sub, so i need help with these problems
1.wat do roman numerals afyer an ion name indicate?
2. wat are the two ionic charges for iron?
3. wat holds an ionic compound together?
4. wat is true about the electrons in a sulfur ion?
5. wat kind of ion do metals tend to form?

Hi blackdice, i wish i could explain to you but this is really at its fundamental and it might take a long page and time. Always try google especially on ions, charges, ionic compound, try to answer some of them and we can work off from there.

1.Metals form positive ions, due to the fact they need to give electrons away to achieve a full outer shell.
2. ionic bonds are held together due to the electrostatic attraction of a positive metal ion and a negative non-metal ion. (opposites attract)
3. Fe
3+
and Fe
2+
are the two iron ions.
