Benozoic acid, C6H5COOH, is a weak monoprotic acid with an acid dissociation constant of 6.6 x 10^(-5).

how to calculate and explain the pH of 0.5M sodium benzoate(C6H5COONa)?

Hint: this is salt of a weak acid, it contains conjugate base.
