I'm currently trying very small dosages of the ADHD medication Ritalin. But I am lactose intolerant which makes the the drug very stomach upsetting. Ritalin and Concerta both contain lactose, and those are the only medications available in Norway and Europe in general. If not I have to get an American prescription - for Adderall RX, Daytrana or Vyvanse which I found don't contain lactose - through my doctor (which I'm going to try). But except taking lactose supplements that helps my body tear down the lactose, is there some way I could decrease or get rid of the lactose within the Ritalin pill? When you heat dairy products, they don't seem to annoy lactose intolerants that much. That is about how much knowledge I have on the subject. Any ideas, or methods will be gladly appreciated!
