If you can post your working for the first problem, you can get help on that if you need.

For the second part calculate the heat required for each step:

1)  Melt the metal which is at 330.1C into a liquid
2)  Heat the liquid metal to its melting point at 1541C
3)  Heat the metal to a vapor

You should have an equation for this type of problem.  Something like:  Q = cm :delta: T

I figured out the first one, but I'm still really confused about the temperature changes in the 2nd one. I don't know where to start

ok it just hit me! I was trying to use too many temperature conversions when there was only one. I figured it out! Thanks for your help though!
