figuring the density of an object...
« on: January 31, 2009, 06:12:54 PM »
Ok, i have one more question.  I know that density=mass
                                                                     volume

The mass i measured is in grams, but the volume i measured was in cm.  What would the density be?  Would it be labeled in grams or cm?

Dear defhalotones;

Why not asking Wiki?,  - or see the definition you gave/used!

Good Luck!

Look at the units usually used for density, either online, or in your text.  You may be able to get an a-ha moment, to see what you're missing.  Can you really measure a volume, with a length ... just one?
Hey, I'm not judging.  I just like to shoot straight.  I'm a man of science.

Volume is measured in cm3.

The unit of density is g/cm3
