Hydrogen is the chemical element with atomic number 1. The Hydrogen molecular formula is H2. What does the 2 in the molecular formula H2 represent? And can more H be added to create H3 or H4 etc.?

H. + H. -> H2 dihydrogen
H3 is theory, see
