I'm an undergraduate (just finished my first year!) studying chemical engineering. However, I have not progressed in my studies past orgo, and I believe that this question pertains more towards p chem. Let me know if this thread should be moved to another forum. Now...the problem:
During my work as an intern this summer, I have had an issue that I need some help on. Try as I might, I can not find all that much relevant material on this subject. Does anyone know of any promoters that might stabilize or retard the reduction of a molybdenum oxide-doped catalyst in a highly reducing atmosphere (H2 at 1100K), or of any promoters that do so at lower temperatures (I've found one study that suggests MgO might at 600K)? Thanks!
