eh, both are trisubstituted.  the first is the major product because benzyllic protons are more acidic.

No, markovnikov is not the correct term.  It's the zaitsev product.  However, like azmanam said, both are trisubstituted, but the benzylic hydrogen is more acidic and easier to remove.
